BASED ON RECOMMENDATIONS from the Center of Disease Control, West Virginia Eye Consultants will be temporarily changing the way our practice operates.  Starting this MONDAY 3/23/20 we are starting a new CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT process in order to take every precaution possible to keep all of our employees and our patients safe.

When you arrive for you appointment please stay in your car in our parking lot and you can either CALL or TEXT 304-343-3937 and state your name and which office your appointment is located (Charleston, Beckley, Ripley, Belle, Saint Albans, Madison or Point Pleasant.)

We will check you in from your vehicle and will let you know when you are ready to be seen.  Please wait in your car until you are asked to come into the office.  ONLY 1 FAMILY MEMBER can come back with you during your appointment.

When you enter our office, you will go through a “Soft Screening” where we will check your temperature with a NON-TOUCH thermometer and complete a symptom and travel questionnaire.

Please provide your current insurance card during this process and we will return it to you after your appointment is complete.

If you are currently sick and are displaying symptoms of coughing, shortness of breath, fever, runny nose, please reschedule your appointment and we will gladly see you when you are well and feeling better.

Our office will be Pre-Screening ALL Patients during appointment scheduling and appointment reminders.

We appreciate your cooperation through these trying times and ensure you that we are taking every precaution to keep our employees and patients happy, safe and well.  If you have any questions concerning our processes, please call or text 304-343-3937.

  1. I think these procedures are excellent but because I am 76 and immune compromised I think I will not be coming out of my home for any reason other than an emergency. As soon as it is safe for me to venture out I will call for an Appt. I do hope in the meantime no emergency arises. Thank all of you who are continuing to work in these uncertain times. I pray all of you and Dr Stansbury stay safe from this horrible virus. Therefore I will not attend this new appt. in April. Aloma Arp
